We are back in full swing!
Please come celebrate the kickoff to a FULL season of the Wendell Fullmoon Coffee House once again.
On Sat. Oct 19, Briezyjane and the Hurricane will kick up a fierce and beautiful musical brew of soaring folk, celtic, soul and blues. (Their extraordinary singer-fiddler- leader, Brie Green, is one of the Green Sisters, a coffeehouse favorite band!)
Always for a good cause, this show is a benefit for the Wendell Historical Society. Come show your support for all of their amazing work.
Doors open at the Wendell Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts with an open mic at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is cash at the door of $7 to $20, with kids under 12 for free.
Bring extra cash for treats at the bake sale table. These funds always go to the beneficiary of the evening.
The Coffeehouse will celebrate its 40th year in February!
Aside from Covid shutdown, we have been in continuous operation, offering a monthly performance to benefit a good local cause. The community showed incredible support for our shorter season last year, so we are ready to launch a full run.
We have a lineup of fantastic musicians to bring together and uplift our community from October to April. World’renowned bands, Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem and then Stompbox Trio are next up in November and December!
On Oct 19, come be transported by the incredible harmonies and 5-piece instrumentation of Briezyjane & The Hurricanes.
They are a folk act with a secret love for blues and soul, fronted by the dynamic Brie Green and backed by “the Hurricanes”- music veterans Rob Griffin (guitar, fiddle & vocals), Rick Green (stratoblaster), Dan Grip (standup bass & vocals), and Chef Myron Becker (harmonica). Briezyjane & The Hurricanes achieve a tasteful balance between structure and spontaneity, intending simply to share soulful and heartfelt songs with the world.
As an added treat, at the open mic, there will be a few songs by Little Wild Bouquet, who are three of the six- member Leonard Cohen tribute band, The Secret Chord. It’s a great sneak peek for the full band’s own upcoming show at Wendell Town Hall on Nov. 1.
